Bag in Box Rum
- Composition and Origin
- Belonging to the Añejo category, its initial design and formulation considered two ageing stages. The first involves ageing the tafias or spirits in barrels for at least 1 year before being used in the final blend. The second stage is the ageing of the final product in barrels for at least 2 years. A unique aspect of this product is the inclusion of long-aged reserves in its formulation, adding a distinctive note to its bouquet.
These long-aged reserves come from products aged in our Spanish cellar for over 7 years, and are only used in high-end products like golden and aged rums.
- Appearance
- Transparent, dark amber color, lets light through with noticeable glints and is free from suspended particles.
- Aroma
- Typical aroma of rum aged in oak barrels. Balanced and slightly sweet. Reminiscent of dried plums and ripe dehydrated grapes, with a proper balance of all aromas without dominance of oak wood or ethyl alcohol.
- Flavor
- Slightly perceptible sweetness combined with well-transformed wood flavor, featuring notes of vanilla and dried sweet almonds.
- Swallowing Sensation
